Account Settings
Account settings apply to your personal account across all workspaces. Access them from the user menu in the top-right corner.
Settings are organized into three areas: Profile, General Settings, and Notifications.
Profile
Manage how you appear across Q.
Your Picture
Upload a profile photo (PNG or JPG). When no photo is set, Q uses a default avatar character that you can customize from a selection of illustrated characters.

General Settings
Configure security, notification preferences, and data management.
Notification Preferences
Control how and when you receive notifications. Three notification types are available:

For each type, you can toggle:
- In-app - notifications appear in the notification center
- Email - notifications are sent to your account email
Multi-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication (2FA).
- Enable - click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" to register an authenticator app
- Add more - register additional authenticator apps as backups
- Remove - remove an authenticator (confirmation required)
When enabled, your account shows an "Enabled" badge. You can register multiple authenticators for redundancy.
Data Export
Download all your personal data in a machine-readable format, as required by GDPR Article 20. The export includes:
- Your profile information
- Your activity history
- Any other data associated with your account
Click Export My Data to download a ZIP file containing JSON files with all your data, plus an export-metadata.json with the export date and included categories.
Delete Account
Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone. You must type "DELETE" to confirm.
Deleting your account removes all your data permanently. Make sure to export your data first if you need to keep it.
Notification Center
The notification center shows all your notifications in one place. Access it from the bell icon in the navigation bar.
Features
- Filter - show only unread, only read, or all notifications
- Mark all as read - clear the unread count in one click
- Individual actions - mark individual notifications as read or unread
Notification Types

Each notification shows its type, a timestamp (e.g. "2 hours ago"), the message body, and an optional action link.
